Virtual gifts and credits
These terms apply to every purchase on the Chatstream Marketplace. Please read them before you check out.
What you are buying
Every item in the marketplace is a virtual gift. Nothing physical is made or shipped. Each gift adds the number of Chatstream credits shown on its page to the Chatstream account you signed in with. Credits can be spent in Chatstream rooms, for example on tributes.
Delivery
Credits are delivered automatically, usually within seconds of your payment clearing. Your order page and your account show when delivery has happened.
All sales are final
Because credits are delivered and usable immediately, all sales are final and purchases are not refundable. By completing checkout you ask for your credits to be delivered straight away and acknowledge that you lose any right to cancel the purchase once they are delivered.
If something goes wrong with a payment, for example you are charged twice or credits never arrive, contact the creator on Chatstream with your order number and it will be put right.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a payment with your bank or card issuer, the credits from that order are removed from your Chatstream account while the dispute is open. They are restored if the dispute is resolved in the seller’s favour. Repeated or abusive disputes may lead to your account being suspended.
Credits
Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred to another account.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe’s checkout page and are never sent to or stored by the marketplace.
